I couldn't agree more but I must say that the second swearing in or taking oath and not using the Bible makes me a little uneasy. It had to be a conscious choice, don't you think? It is a rather blaring juxtaposition to all his attendance at religous gatherings. So is he trying to rid the Bible as a way to join everyone together-given that the scripture is only part of the Judeo-Christian tradition while showing personally that he is religous? Something to think about.
