A little window tip for later

Take windows to the ceiling to be able to soak up every ounce of available light.

Light

No, I wouldn't want this wall of windows if it faced my neighbor's house, but with this lovely view I would take it in a heartbeat.

Winter's Beauty

Seeing a beautiful winter scene captured through beautiful windows is just stunning. It seems as though most of the time windows are photographed when the view is green and sunny so this is a pleasant change in perspective.

It gives me a little hope that I won't mind the cold winter as much this year. There really is a unique beauty to it. I need a cabin. Sigh...

Roman Shades

Aren't these Roman Shades lovely? I like that they are so sheer in the light.

Window Shelf

Lots of scans lately . . .

I have seen this "shelf on window" approach a few places. Not only is it practical, but it looks pretty cool.

It would give me another excuse to expand my dish collection. . .

Wall of Windows

Lots of windows and lots of light are a must. Interesting windows are even better.

My initial instinct would have been to just have solid glass to have as much view as possible, but the simple complexity (?) of this wall is just so visually appealing.

Jeffers Design Group

This room by Jeffers Design Group is fantastic, but I specifically love everything about the fireplace.

Fabulous chandelier, even more fabulous windows.
